Mulder and Scully appear in Th Simpsons episode 'The Springfield Files'. A knock-off of the X-files.
Homer claims he saw an alien while walking home from Moe's, this leads to Mulder and Scully coming in to investigate.
Homers description of the alien was: "It had a high pitched voice ...like urkel, and it appears every friday night, .... like urkel"
By the end its revealed to be Mr Burns, who after a series of procedures and years of working in nuclear plant leave him with a florescent glow.
Mulder and Scully claim this investigation to be the lowest point in their careers.
Leonard Nimoy guest stars.
